Nancy Chapman, MPH, RD, the firm's principal, has 15 years of experience in policy formulation, evaluation, program management, and public health communications. She knows the statutes and regulations governing food safety, domestic and international nutrition labeling, biotechnology, food assistance, nutrition research and education. She maintains close friendships with the policy makers who formulate the policies and the people who influence these policy makers. She regularly speaks, publishes, and is quoted on food policy, nutrition, and international and domestic markets for foods and dietary supplements. She was professional staff for the House Agriculture Committee, chaired by Congressman Leon Panetta. She was an Assistant Professor in Nutrition at Bloomsburg State University and worked as an associate account executive for a large public relations firm. Ms. Chapman earned a Master of Public Health from the University of California at Berkeley. |

| Erica E. Rose, Research Associate, joined N. Chapman Associates with interests in health communications, physical activity initiatives and policy. Her background is in public relations, advertising and media planning. Erica provides leadership and support on all communication planning efforts and implementation for N. Chapman Associates. She is also responsible for media monitoring, legislation tracking, periodical review, website maintenance and event planning/management. Erica received her B.S. from Grand Valley State University (Grand Rapids, MI) in Public Relations and Advertising. She was a member of the women’s varsity soccer team at GVSU and in her free time still enjoys playing and coaching soccer, running and kickboxing.

| Stephanie Saullo, MS, RD, Associate, joins N. Chapman Associates as an associate, managing Technical Affairs. Steph is a registered dietitian and temporarily worked for the American Dietetic Association on nutrition policy before moving to work as a clinical dietitian in long term care. She is also a part-time faculty member of The George Washington University where she teaches undergraduate level Sports and Nutrition. Her interests are in public health and nutrition policy. She completed her Master's degree at Framingham State College and her Bachelor's degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Steph will provide leadership and support on all association technical efforts and implementation moving forward.

Amy E. Deschner, a Research and Marketing Associate, monitors nutrition policy, designs promotional and informational materials, and assists with development of public policy seminars addressing nutritional initiatives. Prior to joining N.Chapman and Associates Amy worked in government relations for RAND and then for the Alan Guttmacher Institute, concentrating on women’s health issues. Amy received her Bachelor of Arts from Guildford College and is currently enrolled at the Maryland Institute College of Art for a degree in graphic design.
