Nancy Chapman, MPH, RD, the firm's principal, has 15 years of experience in policy formulation, evaluation, program management, and public health communications. She knows the statutes and regulations governing food safety, domestic and international nutrition labeling, biotechnology, food assistance, nutrition research and education. She maintains close friendships with the policy makers who formulate the policies and the people who influence these policy makers. She regularly speaks, publishes, and is quoted on food policy, nutrition, and international and domestic markets for foods and dietary supplements. She was professional staff for the House Agriculture Committee, chaired by Congressman Leon Panetta. She was an Assistant Professor in Nutrition at Bloomsburg State University and worked as an associate account executive for a large public relations firm. Ms. Chapman earned a Master of Public Health from the University of California at Berkeley. |

Kelli Dieterich, Research Associate, comes to N. Chapman Associates with experience in media research and coalition building at Edelman Public Relations working in the Healthcare Public Relations practice. She also brings program planning, events organizing, and media relations experience gained from the Women's National Democratic Club. She also has developed and maintained web pages and wrote news articles for student newspaper, while a student at Furman University, Public Relations Department.

Danielle Evennou,Research Associate, brings a strong interest in public policy to N. Chapman Associates. With a Bachelors Degree in Political Science and American Studies from Rutgers University, Danielle’s experience with federal policy making has equipped her with fundamental knowledge of domestic public policy. Danielle also provides experience in event planning as she served as the Heritage Coordinator for the 2006 New Jersey Folk Festival. While participating in the Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars, Danielle interned with N. Chapman Associates. |

Amy E. Deschner, a Research and Marketing Associate, monitors nutrition policy, designs promotional and informational materials, and assists with development of public policy seminars addressing nutritional initiatives. Prior to joining N.Chapman and Associates Amy worked in government relations for RAND and then for the Alan Guttmacher Institute, concentrating on women’s health issues. Amy received her Bachelor of Arts from Guildford College and is currently enrolled at the Maryland Institute College of Art for a degree in graphic design.
